Puh, what a night. Nachdem ich das Portforwardingproblem bei der FritzBox! nicht gelöst bekommen habe, musste heute Nacht die Fonera-Linksysbox erstma dran glauben. Harko und ich haben länger dran gechattet wie man denn nun den Router am besten aufkriegt und nach viel Voodoo haben wir es dann auch hingekriegt (3 mal rebooten und reset lange drücken, dann die IP am eth0 ändern und freimal im Kreis tanzen. Danach atftp loslassen und den Powerplug drücken.... oder so ähnlich). Nachdem das sehr lange gedauert hatte,m aber endlich OpenWRT drauf war suchte ich nach einer netten Seite wie es weiter geht und fand durch konfiguriert :)

Na sowas. Openwrt.org bietet jetzt auch tor als Paket an. Zwar nur eine niedrigere Versionnummer als man eigentlich haben möchte, aber immerhin. Generell empfiehlt es sich bei tor immer die unstable zu nehmen, da nämlich eher auf Sicherheit als auf Features geachtet wird (nicht so wie bei vielen anderen Softwareprojekten). Also einfach ein "echo net-misc/tor ~x86 >> /etc/portage/package.keywords" und ein update unter gentoo und es tut.Und das schöne ist, das geht nicht nur mit einem Linksys. Ich versuche gerade das auch auf einer Fritzbox zum laufen zu bringen, aber das ist etwas komplizierter als man denkt.

Nachdem ja nun der Shop, bei dem ich eine miniSD-Karte von der Firma Memory Corp erwerben wollte, sich außer Stande sah, diese Karte zu liefern nahm ich mal den Telefonhörer in die Hand und erreichte jemanden vom Vertrieb in Deutschland.Man müsse eben nur auf http://memorycorp.net/ klicken und schon wäre man bei einem Shop. Schade, dass die c't das nicht in ihrem Artikel erwähnte. Na mal schaun, die Preise sind jedenfalls nett - bin gespannt, ob wenigstens diese nun liefern.

Heut saß ich an einem Aldi-Rechner, den ich einrichten sollte. Es handelt sich um das Medion-Gerät, welches Aldi-Nord vor einigen Tagen unters Fußvolk streute.Der Eigner hat jedoch keine Form von Festnetzanschluss oder gar DSL zu Hause. Also losgelaufen und einen BASE-Vertrag über Internetflatrate (incl. Telefonie ins Festnetz und ePlus-Intern) abgeschlossen. Da das Notebook nur noch einen PCMCIA-Anschluss hat, an dem die mitgelieferte DVB-T - Karte betrieben werden soll, wurde es also ein USB-Modem fürs Funknetz. Eben das Huawei E220. Ein wirklich nettes Gerät - in Form und Farbgebung einer Monatsbinde nachempfunden - welches auch gleich als Wechseldatenträger erkannt wurde, sich selbst installierte und instantan die Netzverfügbarkeit anzeigte. Nur eben Connect ging nicht.

Nun soll ja bob.askja.de als einer von mehreren Rechnern neue Hardware bekommen. Die alte ist eben doch schon etwas aged.Es soll rein: Tyan Moard h1000s, 4GB ECC-RAM, ein Opteron 1214 und ein 2ware SATA-Controller mit 6 bis 8 Platten (9550SX-8LP).
Tja, und mit letzterem gibts dann eben ein Problem - jedenfalls zusammen mit dem Board.
