Vor einigen Wochen kam diese Meldung mal so durch die Ticker gelaufen:"The production of diesel from vegetable oil calls for an efficient solid catalyst to make the process fully ecologically friendly. Here we describe the preparation of such a catalyst from common, inexpensive sugars. This high-performance catalyst, which consists of stable sulphonated amorphous carbon, is recyclable and its activity markedly exceeds that of other solid acid catalysts tested for 'biodiesel' production."

Vor einigen Tagen nun wurde stolz verkündet, dass Brandenburg in Deutschland führend in der Herstellung von Biodiesel sei - kein Wunder, wenn man die allgegenwärtig gelben Felder im Frühjahr so betrachtet.

Am 8. August wird also das Zelt des CCC wieder aus dem Steigerwald herausgeschält und nach Berlin geschippert. Auf dem Weg dahin machen wir einen kleinen Umweg und schlagen beim Werner Pieper im Odenwald auf. Dort ist in der Nacht vom 8. zum 9.
